Variety is reporting that none other than the original Mary Poppins herself, the great Julie Andrews has been cast as Karathen, a mythical sea creature that aligns herself with Aquaman (Jason Momoa) in an attempt to broker a peace treaty between Atlantis and the human race.

This is incredible news. One could have been forgiven for expecting the screen legend to pop up in Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns this December, but her destiny is taking her to Atlantis which adds a new level of awesomeness to James Wan’s highly anticipated blockbuster.

Will Aquaman be practically perfect this Christmas? The answers we seek will arrive this December…
