Stallone is Out for Blood in the Teaser Trailer for Rambo: Last Blood

Everyone has one more fight in them…

After what many regarded to be the perfect send-off for the character in the previous outing, John Rambo will be returning to our screens this October. Sylvester Stallone will be unleashing his lethal skillset one last time in Rambo: Last Blood.

For months, the megastar has been teasing us with images from the set which he has posted to his Instagram account but now, at long last, we are delighted to bring you the teaser trailer for what looks to be one hell of a swansong. This time around the action hero takes on drug cartels in Mexico as he tries to save a friend’s daughter who has been kidnapped, but just as in previous movies, you never mess with John Rambo.

Fans of the franchise will be doing somersaults after watching this trailer. One thing the saga has shown us is that Rambo is not one to shy away from a fight. Sure, he takes a beating here or there, but you can never keep the big guy down. The two previous instalments have shied away from the original story focussing on the Vietnam veteran suffering from PTSD after experiencing a lifetime of horrors, but Last Blood appears to be bringing the story full circle.

Stallone has remained steadfast that this will be Rambo’s final battle, and if that is indeed proven to be the case it would appear, he’s going out on a high. Rambo brings all-out war to those who cross him and if this final fight can mix the sheer unadulterated violence of previous outings with a more dramatic storyline which brings his adventures full circle, we can all look forward to a very special send-off for one of Hollywood’s most iconic characters.

Check out the awesome new poster:

Stallone co-wrote the script with Matt Cirulnick, with Adrian Grunberg directing. Rambo: Last Blood also stars Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Yvette Monreal, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Oscar Jaenadam, and Joaquín Cosío and arrives in cinemas on September 20th.
