Annlyel continues her series focussing on the best moment from every instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe continuing with James Gunn’s outstanding Guardians Of The Galaxy
I remember when I saw the teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time, I was instantly hooked. And after watching the film I was glad to know my gut had been right. The movie was magnificent. To try to pick the best moment from this film is almost unfair but I’m going to try my best to think of one.
Okay, okay, okay. What am I going to pick?
I think the best moment in Guardians of the Galaxy is when at the most desperate moment Peter Quill grabs the Power Stone. He was a goner but with the help of his friends (and a quick glimpse of his mother from beyond the grave) they locked hands and were able to defeat Ronan. This moment, paired with the epic score, is just…phenomenal. The chills whenever I see this scene are astronomical.
I love this part so much that it alone is the reason why Guardians of the Galaxy will always be one of my favorite superhero movies of all time.
Next, I tackle Avengers: Age of Ultron.
