Pennywise is back to terrorize with these awesome new posters
The countdown is on to the finale of the IT saga, and the marketing campaign is firing on all cylinders. The imagery of newest trailer was enough to send chills down the spine and eager to capitalise on those chilling and eerie aesthetics, Warner Bros. and its partners have unleashed two new posters which put Pennywise front and centre.
First up, IMAX has unleashed its exclusive poster for director Andy Muschiettit’s sequel which features a gathering of blood-red balloons, with Pennywise the Clown floating among them. Check it out:
The IMAX release will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience with proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX’s customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
And rounding off the poster fest is Dolby Cinema. The cinema giants also announced their own exclusive poster for IT: Chapter Two. Featuring a chilling close up on Pennywise’s evil eye, and the crimson streaks that serve as a part of his nightmarish visage, this poster is a haunting reminder of what we can expect to see when the movie hits our screens next month.
And if you needed reminding, here’s the synopsis:
Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “IT: Chapter Two” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.

Andy Bean (“Allegiant,” Starz’ “Power“) plays Stanley, and reprising their roles as the original members of the Losers Club are Jaeden Martell as Bill, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, and Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie.
