The saga comes to an end in the breathtaking final trailer for the culmination of the Skywalker saga
The wait is over…
It was written in the stars. On what would have been Carrie Fisher’s 63rd birthday, Lucasfilm has unveiled the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and as expected it was well worth the wait. Earlier in the day, the trailer tease sent the internet into a meltdown when it revealed the Millennium Falcon flanked by The Ghost but the trailer is pure Star Wars awesomeness!
So without further ado, let’s feel the force together…
Wow. This trailer is absolutely glorious and highlights the bittersweet feeling we are all feeling about the saga coming to an end. The Millennium Falcon looks back to her glorious best, new characters Babu Frik, Jannah, D-O and Zorii Bliss look like wonderful additions to the saga, and Billy Dee Williams is having a blast as Lando Calrissian. Plus, with Kylo Ren and Rey in a race against time to thwart the plans of the Emperor, The Rise of Skywalker is a shoo-in to become the mother of all movies.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker unleashes the force in cinemas from December 19th in the UK and 20th in the US.
