Black Series Review | First Order Stormtrooper (The Rise Of Skywalker)
Thomas joins the ranks of the First Order to review the new Black Series First Order Stormtrooper
The second part of Triple Force Friday figures have now hit European stores and among them is the new First Order Stormtrooper from The Rise of Skywalker.
This trooper is basically a repack from the Amazon exclusive pack that was released in 2017 for The Last Jedi. The helmet has slightly been redone with smaller but longer eye visors and same for the mouth of the helmet.
The big difference here is the arms. They now have a wider articulation than the previous releases. So obviously it’s better to hold weapons in action poses, however, this figure has been given the weapons of the Riot control trooper so only a shield, a baton and a blaster pistol, no blaster or Heavy Gunner equipment. If you have additional First Order equipment, it obviously fits on this one so you can use it. But this wider articulation also benefits for Riot Control troopers. This figure has a total of 18 points of articulation.
The paint apps are good and the white paint of this figure has “shinier” white than previous releases, it’s really nice.
The articulation is what makes the difference here and that’s why it’s a worthy pick-up.
