The director of Ghostbusters: Answer The Call congratulates Jason Reitman
You’ve gotta hand it to Paul Feig. The director worked tirelessly to produce a noteworthy Ghostbusters reboot, (or whatever it was supposed to be) and in return was lambasted for turning in an unwanted abomination of a movie.

Say what you will about Ghostbusters: Answer The Call (and I do regularly), but Feig has proven himself to be a top-notch director and by all accounts, a pretty cool guy. But given his torrid time since the release of Answer The Call what would his response be to Jason Reitman’s all-new and legitimate sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
As it turns out, he’s incredibly supportive. Taking to social media, Feig chimed in to offer his unswerving support for Reitman’s addition to the Ghostbusters mythos. Check it out:
This looks so awesome. Huge congrats to @JasonReitman and his amazing cast and crew. I cannot WAIT to see this! #weareallghostbusters 👻🏆👏❤️ https://t.co/hsUAaxYS9E

Credit where credit’s due, Feig is a top guy and in this day and age where the Hollywood landscape is full of division, It’s refreshing to see a director support his successor in this way. The ultimate failure of Answer The Call may have ended Feig’s involvement in the Ghostbusters franchise, but his support for the sequel is there for all to see and that in itself is worthy of applause.
Bravo, Mr Feig.
Ghostbusters Afterlife starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts will be ready to believe you on July 10th, 2020.
