Tamashii has teased the imminent announcement of a hotly anticipated Michael Keaton Dark Knight action figure
Hold the front page! Call the Gotham Globe and tell Alexander Knox we’ve got a scoop for him! Overnight, the official Tamashii Nations Instagram account has confirmed the imminent arrival of a DREAM FIGURE for Batman fans. In a delightfully teasing post, the toy giant wrote:
“Ever Danced with the Devil in the Pale Moonlight? Guess who’s coming to the S.H. Figuarts lineup. A brand new announcement from Tamashii Nations coming March 26th”
Yes, Michael Keaton’s iconic Dark Knight from the big-screen Tim Burton adventure is coming to the S.H. Figuarts action figure line. This is incredible news. Collectors have been calling for a six-inch scale Keaton Batman for years … and finally, Tamashii is stepping up to the plate.
Could this mean we can expect to see other characters from Tim Burton’s Batman universe making an appearance in the line? Dare we hope to see Jack Nicholson’s Joker in the six-inch scale or even Vicky Vale? Maybe even Keaton’s Bruce Wayne with interchangeable Bat accessories? Could we see a whole new line featuring characters from Batman Returns and Batman Forever? Only time will tell. But Tamashii’s announcement (set for March 26) has our team super-excited, and we cannot wait to see what the toy giant has in store for us!
Check back for the latest updates as they arrive.
