S.H. Figuarts Review | Captain America Final Battle (Avengers Endgame)

Thomas checks out the new Captain America Final Battle figure from Avengers Endgame

Captain America is part of the Final Battle wave of figures from Avengers Endgame. S.H. Figuarts has redesigned the boxes for these figures painting them purple and having large boxes while the previous Avengers Endgame figures were white boxes.

Final battle means Cap using the Mjolnir so as you guessed it, this figure comes with the Mjolnir and lightning effects, Cap’s shield, Cap’s broken shield, a Steve Rogers headsculpt, an additional Captain America headsculpt, shield accessories, and 10 interchangeable hands.

Cap’s shields have metallic paint applied on them and a dirt effect too which gives some beautiful results! The Mjolnir is pretty cool in terms of small details but also because it comes with lightning effects!

The Captain America head sculpts are good, they’re re-use of the first Captain America release for Avengers Endgame. The first headsculpt is neutral while the second one displays an angry facial expression. Steve Rogers is a new headsculpt as well and not just simple re-use of the Civil War headsculpt. In terms of likeness, Civil War is the winner here but this one is still very good.

This figure has the exact same sculpt as the first release for Avengers Endgame except for this time they applied a dirt effect on it to simulate a battle effect. It has 28 points of articulation. Much like the other Captain America versions, you can attach the shield to his back.
