The man behind the original Boba Fett mask has sadly passed away
Sad news has reached us tonight. We are saddened to report that Star Wars icon Jeremy Bulloch has passed away aged 75. Bulloch was catapulted to instant stardom when he first slipped into the notorious armor of Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back.
Born in Leicestershire in 1945, Jeremy Bulloch began a stellar career in 1958 in TV commercials before the leap to film and TV. He starred in the classic Summer Holiday alongside Cliff Richard, played Hamlet, appeared in Doctor Who, Robin of Sherwood, multiple James Bond movies, and was the man behind Boba Fett in Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Like many of my friends and colleagues, I am devastated by this news. Aside from being a hero of mine, Jeremy Bulloch was an absolute treasure. He was the kindest man to talk to and was gracious with his time. I had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy on multiple occasions and only have the fondest of memories as I say goodbye to the legend that sparked my love of the greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy.

The galaxy has lost one of its brightest stars. Rest in peace Jeremy, and to his friends, and family we offer our deepest sympathy.
This is the way.
