Oscar-winner Olivia Coleman could be about to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Samuel L. Jackson in Secret Invasion
In a surprising twist, Oscar-winner Olivia Coleman may be on the verge of joining the MCU. News is reaching us that the legendary British actress is in talks to join Samuel L. Jackson in the upcoming Disney Plus series Secret Invasion.
The Disney Plus series will find Jackson and his Captain Marvel co-star Ben Mendelsohn reprising their MCU characters Nick Fury and Talos. Sadly, there is no word on who Coleman could be playing. As always, Marvel is keeping its cards pretty close to the chest. However, having talent as renowned as Coleman involved is a tantalizing prospect and definitely raises the bar for the MCU.
As for the creative minds behind the series, Kyle Bradstreet, who worked on the critically acclaimed series Mr. Robot, will be writing and executing producing the project. And rumor has it, the series will be filming in various locations across the UK and Europe.
Hopefully, with the casting process fully underway, we should hear more about the series soon.
