Marvel Studios has shared a new clip from the upcoming Loki series starring Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief
Marvel Studios has shared a fresh look at Loki. The hotly anticipated series is speeding towards its June 9th release date. And the MTV awards were the perfect place to pour some fuel into the already speeding hype train. In the clip, Loki is coming to terms with his incarceration at the hands of the Time Variance Authority. And Owen Wilson’s Agent Mobius is eager to get the former prince of Asgard talking. Check it out:
The fiendishly good series is heading our way on June 9th and it promises to be one of the standout shows in Marvel Studios’ next phase. The series takes place after the events of Avengers Endgame, in which an alternate version of the character escaped with the Tesseract to create a new timeline. However, he is quickly apprehended by the mysterious Time Variance Authority and forced to repair the damage he caused.
As mentioned above, Marvel Studios’ Loki will release on Wednesday, June 9th with new episodes releasing every Wednesday thereafter. This new slot is a first for the studio. But with Star Wars: The Bad Batch already envigorating our Fridays, it’s refreshing to have Loki heading our way to lighten our Wednesdays.
Until then, we can immerse ourselves in the brilliance of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier which is streaming on Disney Plus now.
