DC’s Stargirl is finally about to return for season two, and there are a slew of new villains and allies joining Courtney and the JSA
After what has seemed like an eternity, the first trailer for DC’s Stargirl Season 2 has finally arrived and gives us our first look at the new allies and villains joining Courtney and the JSA.
The final episode of Season One pretty much thwarted the plans of the Injustice Society. With the entire league of supervillains either dead or behind bars. But as we all know, a superhero’s work is never done, and Courtney will need to suit up and save the day once again.
Judging by the trailer, we can expect Jade – Alan Scott/Green Lantern’s daughter to get in on the action, as well as Thunderbolt who will be voiced by Jim Gaffigan. Having Green Lantern returning to the fold is a big deal for the series, and will undoubtedly add some weight to the new Lantern series heading to HBO Max.
Whereas the first season began life on the failed DC Universe platform, Stargirl Season 2 will launch on its new home at The CW. The first season is currently available to stream now, and fans in other territories can catch up with the events of season one on Amazon Prime Video.
DC’s Stargirl Season 2 will launch on The CW on August 10th.
