The CW’s newest addition to its DC fraternity is finally set to hit UK screens later this week
After airing on The CW Network in the United States, DC’s Stargirl will finally have its UK premiere On Amazon Prime later this week! The stellar series from the creator of The Flash and Batwoman is coming to the streamer this Friday after being announced as the official home of the show in the UK.
Thankfully, unlike other superhero shows like ‘The Boys‘, the series will be available to binge all in one sitting – as long as you have a Prime subscription. All 13 episodes will drop this Friday ensuring a night of quality entertainment ahead of the 24-hour spectacular DC FanDome this Saturday.

Courtney Whitmore, a smart, athletic, and above all else kind girl, discovers her step-father has a secret: he used to be the sidekick to a superhero. “Borrowing” the long-lost hero’s cosmic staff, she becomes the unlikely inspiration for an entirely new generation of superheroes.

The drama series is produced by Berlanti Productions and Mad Ghost Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and stars Brec Bassinger, Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Jake Austin Walker, Hunter Sansone, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson and Christopher James Baker.
Huzzah! I cannot wait to take a deep-dive into the exciting new series. I have heard nothing but good things about this series and with season two already given the go-ahead, there’s plenty more to come from Courtney Whitmore- and I am there for it!
