At long last – new details are emerging about the story of the new HBO Max Green Lantern series. Get ready to meet a multitude of Lanterns!
Green Lantern is back. At last!
“In brightest day, in darkest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might, beware my power, Green Lantern’s light.”
It appears that we are all one step closer to getting the much anticipated Green Lantern TV series we all have been hoping for. You know you are, don’t deny it. The HBO Max series based on the Green Lantern will begin filming on April 12!
As promised, the series will not be focused on just one individual hero. It will introduce multiple members of the intergalactic law enforcement agency. According to Productionlist.com, it will follow:
“the adventures of a multitude of Lanterns, including Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, and Alan Scott…and many more.”
The show will be co-written by Seth Grahame-Smith and Marc Guggenheim. Guggenheim has previously written episodes of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Before this, Grahame-Smith wrote Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and The Lego Batman Movie.
Neither casting details nor a premiere date for the show has been announced.
