McFarlane Toys has officially revealed the retro new Batman The Classic Series 1966 toy line – and it is glorious!
Holy hole in a donut! McFarlane Toys has officially unveiled the new DC Retro collection celebrating Batman The Classic Series. McFarlane’s Summer Showcase was the venue for the big reveal and it has delivered our first look at Adam West‘s Batman, Burt Ward‘s Robin, and Cesar Romero’s Joker.
But if that isn’t enough to have you sliding down the Batpoles; they also revealed the Batmobile and the Batcave playset! The figures are less robust than their top-of-the-line counterparts and clock in at a traditional 6″. And although the figures are listed as only having five points of articulation, the release images reveal far more possibility than that. So without further ado, let’s take a closer look at these INCREDIBLE figures.

Pre-Orders
McFarlane Toys has confirmed that pre-orders for these figures will go live sometime in August. Moreover, they will be exclusive to Target Stores in the United States. Other territories will have to watch their regular vendors. It was mentioned during the live stream that the Batmobile and Batcave sets will set us back between $25-$35. The figures are expected to cost $12-$15 each which is a pretty fair price for the scale.
I don’t know about you guys, but I am beside myself. These new Batman The Classic Series figures are a dream come true for me. And even though I already own their 3.75″ counterparts, I will be chomping at the bit to get my hands on these 6″ versions.
