Will the upcoming Star Wars Visions Ronin novel tie into the greater events of the saga?
There is a novel coming in October called Ronin. And it is said to be a direct tie-in to the Star Wars anime shorts, Star Wars Visions, coming in September. Yet, it has also been said in an article published about it, that the story makers have been given full autonomy in writing their tales. And are not constrained by the rules of canon. In English, that means, they are not part of the main storytelling.
This is very upsetting as I love anime, and love it when all the pieces fit together. Now basic logic tells us that if this is non-canon, and Ronin ties into it, then that should make Ronin non-canon as well, right? It’s very confusing and we don’t have an answer but hopefully, it will come soon.
