“The Book of Boba Fett delivers a fantastic episode delving into the Star Wars lore in the best possible way!”
It’s Wednesday so this means it’s time for the new episode of The Book of Boba Fett. Episode 2 is untitled ‘The Tribes of Tatooine.’
Just like the first episode, this one is following the same type of storytelling. The first half of the episode takes place in the present. This part doesn’t have action scenes. Though it introduces new characters and it gives us an idea of the threats Boba will have to face to assert his power as the Daimyo of Tatooine. There was a scene that had me quite surprised! I’m very excited about this.
Life With The Tuskens
Flashbacks were the most important part of this episode. In this one, we get to learn more about the Tuskens’ culture. I love how Jon Favreau took this species that was seen as “savages” in the movies and developed them into characters we actually like! This episode goes heavy on the Star Wars lore. We learn more about the Tuskens as Boba learns about them. And the Tuskens learn more about off-worlders as Boba teaches them about it.
Plus, Boba and the Tusken also face a new challenge that involves a big action scene on a train. Star Wars and trains make an explosive cocktail! With The Clone Wars, Solo, and now The Book of Boba Fett, it is becoming a tradition! And I think we can all agree we need to see more trains in Star Wars.
Along with the action and the lore, we get two nice cameos in the flashbacks. Not everyone will know who they are but for the people who know, it will make you smile. But more importantly, as a big fan of The Clone Wars and the Prequels, there were more than a few times that had me cheering up. This series embraces the Prequels and I’m here for it!
Temuera Morrison is phenomenal as Boba Fett. He owns every scene he’s in. And his presence on screen helps make Boba a likable character.
