First Look | The Police Uniform Joker (The Dark Knight)

Queen Studios offers us a bust so realistic, you’ll think he’s standing in front of you.

Queens Studios has done it once again. Not being content to make fantastic life-like busts of some of our favorite characters, they have possibly surpassed themselves. Coming in the second quarter of 2023, they will be releasing the life-size scale bust of the Police Uniform Joker from ‘The Dark Knight.’ This visual representation of the late Heath Ledger in his Oscar-winning role is incredible. After their other busts of the character, this one stands out. Here we have the Joker, In his Police uniform without his clown make-up. His scars are visible for all to see. He is holding a rifle with the intent of assassinating the mayor of Gotham. And in his way, he is beautiful.

THE DETAILS

The bust stands at 87cm tall. It takes the likeness of Heath Ledger to new heights. The bust perfectly captures the moment the Joker tries to assassinate the Gotham mayor where he stands. He is clean-faced, his Glasgow Grin stretches from ear to ear. Within his disguise as a Gotham City Police officer, he holds a standard-issue M1 semi-automatic rifle. And he is poised and ready to fire.

No detail no matter how small is spared here. The engraved buttons, the GCPD badge, and the star-spangled banner flag pin are reproduced with stunning accuracy. The rifle is cast from polystone and features a leather-look strap. The base captures the architecture from the scene which wonderfully ties the entire piece together.

The bust is cast from Platinum silicone and features real fabric and glass eyes. Its product dimensions are 87cm (H) X 90cm (W) X 55cm (D). It is limited to a mere 199 pieces so you’ll need to preorder the piece fairly quickly. The preorder opens today at 8 pm or +8 hours GMT. It does cost an eye-watering $3,980 and requires a $1,470 deposit to secure one. It has been officially licensed by DC. It will be released during the second quarter of 2023.
