The wizarding world is calling us home. Get your first look at the character posters from the upcoming Fantastic Beasts threequel The Secrets Of Dumbledore
Despite its troubled journey to the screen, the latest Fantastic Beasts sequel is heading our way this April. Titled The Secrets Of Dumbledore, the threequel promises to be a stellar addition to the Wizarding World. But with Johnny Depp being forced to the sidelines and replaced by Mads Mikkelsen, plus the constant irritation of the Covid shutdown; can the threequel truly stick the landing and give fans the movie they are craving?
Well, if we were in any doubt – Warner Bros. is on hand to turn the tide. The studio has kicked off its marketing campaign by releasing a string of gorgeous new character posters. And as expected, they are gloriously magical. The usual suspects are leading the charge as we would expect. Even Picket and Teddy are getting in on the act. But instead of keeping Mads Mikkelsen’s Grindelwald under wraps, the studio is presenting him to us in glorious, colorful fashion. Check out our gallery below:
RELEASE
These new posters look sensational and easily resonate with the atmosphere of the Wizarding World. And despite the impromptu cast change, Mads Mikkelsen looks like he’s relishing his new role as Grindelwald. Whether or not the movie can stick the landing remains to be seen. Despite a sensational start with ‘And Where To Find Them‘ the follow-up ‘, The Crimes Of Grindelwald‘ adopted the worst trait of the Harry Potter franchise by over baking the plot with unnecessary filler. The result was a convoluted affair that delivered very little in terms of magic or storytelling. So, let’s hope the threequel breaks free from the shackles of the Potterverse and allows Newt Scamander to step out from Potter’s shadow. All will be revealed in cinemas this April.

ENSEMBLE CAST
Directed by David Yates, The Secrets Of Dumbledore features an ensemble cast led by Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne (“The Theory of Everything”). Joining him in the threequel are two-time Oscar nominee Jude Law (“Cold Mountain,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley”); Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner; Jessica Williams, Katherine Waterston, and Mads Mikkelsen.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore releases in cinemas on April 15.
