Look out Gotham because The Batman is getting the S.H. Figuarts treatment
Tamashii Nations has teased us with a new figure of Robert Pattinson’s The Batman. With Matt Reeves’ mega-blockbuster currently delighting audiences in cinemas around the world, it was only a matter of time before new connected merchandise hit the shelves. And although McFarlane’s DC Multiverse line has already crafted an action figure line from the movie; fans have been waiting to see if Medicom Toys and Tamashii Nations would be throwing their hat into the ring.
THE CAPED CRUSADER
Thankfully, the speculation is now over because Tamashii has blinked first and announced their intention to deliver a new action figure based on Pattinson’s Dark Knight. The figure appears to come with a host of cool accessories including a masked and unmasked head; soft goods cape with wire, Batarang; cuffs, an alternate chest piece, batons, and at least 10 handpieces. Check it the images below:
THE FIGURE
From the new film “The Batman” Batman (Bruce Wayne) joins the S.H.Figuarts lineup. Standing approximately 6 inches tall, this 1/12 scale figure includes a cloth cape with integrated posing wire, and an unmasked face portrait of Bruce Wayne featuring the black paint around his eyes as seen in the film.
The new caped crusader will release sometime in August 2022. So keep watching your favorite vendors for pre-order links.
