Warner Bros. has confirmed that Matt Reeves’ The Batman will hit U.K premium video outlets on April 19th in line with its HBO Max debut.

Look out Gothamites because The Batman is heading to U.K. PVOD platforms on April 19th. It’s been no secret that Matt Reeves’ noir blockbuster would be heading to HBO Max in the USA next week. But until now, U.K fans have been left in the dark about when we can get to explore the brilliance of Reeves’ vision from the comfort of our own homes.
Well thankfully, all that is about to change. That’s because Warner Bros. has announced that The Batman will be available on U.K. PVOD platforms one day after it hits HBO Max across the pond. So, dust off your Batarangs, clean your utility belts and charge the Batmobiles turbine because this is gonna be fun.
SYNOPSIS
Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman (Robert Pattinson), striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies—Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Lt. James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright)—amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens.
Since its release, Matt Reeves’ dark take on the Batman legend has generated mixed views from fans and cinephiles alike. Some fans adore it, others just don’t see what all the fuss is about. But no matter what camp you pitch your tent in, one thing is undeniable. And that is that The Batman is without a doubt the must-see movie of the year so far. And that alone is reason enough to plan your return to Gotham City.
