Check out the colorful new poster for Disney Plus’ Ms. Marvel coming to the streamer on June 8
With the clock ticking down to the release of Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus, the studio has released a brand new poster to mark the 50-day countdown. The vibrant new poster is rich in Kamala Khan’s Pakistani heritage and features our first look at the ensemble cast in all its glory. Check it out below:
KAMALA KHAN
The series follows Kamala Khan, a Pakistani American teenager from Jersey City who idolizes Carol Danvers and dreams about following in her footsteps. But the trappings of her real-life demand she remains focussed on her schooling. But against all the odds, she is bestowed with amazing cosmic powers and sets out to change the world.
CAST & CREW
Newcomer Iman Vellani joins the MCU as Kamala Kahn. She is joined by Saagar Shaikh as her older brother Aamir. Mohan Kapur, and Zenobia Shroff star as her parents Muneeba and Yusuf. Matt Lintz fills the role of Kamala’s best friend Bruno. And Aramis Knight steps into the role of the vigilante Red Dagger.
The series is directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Bisha K. Ali are the executive producers. Co-executive producers for the series are Sana Amanat and Trevor Waterson, and Bisha K. Ali is the head writer.
The new series gets underway on Disney Plus on June 8.
