Kamala Kahn changes the landscape of the MCU in the cosmic new trailer for Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel
Marvel Studios has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming Ms. Marvel Disney Plus series and as expected, it’s a game-changer! The new teaser introduces the world to the MCU’s first Muslim superhero, and she’s suitably excited to be here! But there’s more. The teaser also confirms that the series will launch on the streamer on June 8, 2022.

Kamala Kahn, a Pakistani American teenager from Jersey City idolizes Carol Danvers and dreams about following in her footsteps. But the trappings of her real-life demand she remains focussed on her schooling. But against all the odds, she is bestowed with amazing cosmic powers and sets out to change the world. CAST & CREW
Newcomer Iman Vellani joins the MCU as Ms. Marvel/Kamala Kahn. She is joined by Saagar Shaikh as her older brother Aamir. Mohan Kapur, and Zenobia Shroff star as her parents Muneeba and Yusuf. Matt Lintz has been cast as Kamala’s best friend Bruno. And Aramis Knight steps into the role of the vigilante Red Dagger.
The series is directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Bisha K. Ali are the executive producers. Co-executive producers for the series are Sana Amanat and Trevor Waterson, and Bisha K. Ali is the head writer.
The series will release on Disney Plus on June 8.
