The Apple TV+ Godzilla MonsterVerse spin-off series lands Kurt and Wyatt Russell to star.
Since it was announced, we’ve heard very little about the ambitious Apple TV+ Godzilla and the Titans spin-off series. So far, we’ve learned that WandaVision director Matt Shakman would be overseeing the series. And that Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski have been cast in key, but undisclosed roles. But today, the series just received a massive boost of talent.
Collider is reporting that Hollywood legend Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt have both joined the cast. The nature of their involvement remains a mystery, but in signing an actor as renowned as Kurt Russell, the series just became one of the most anticipated series for some time. And demonstrates that the streamer is sparing no expense with this show. Aside from his legendary roles in Escape From New York and The Thing, Kurt Russell recently joined the MCU as Ego in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Wyatt on the other hand rose to prominence in Marvel’s The Falcon And The Winter Soldier as would-be Captain America John Walker.
Sadly, as of press time, no release date has been set. However, Apple TV has confirmed that the show will follow a family as they try to make sense of a world filled with monsters, and will explore more of the Titans that emerged in the aftermath of King Ghidorah’s rampage. Unfortunately, that’s as much as we know. But fear not dear readers, as soon as we hear more we’ll update the post. You’ll never miss a thing with Future of the Force.
