Idris Elba's Beast

Idris Elba fights for his place in the food chain in Universal Pictures’ BEAST – coming to cinemas on Friday 26th August

The devil has returned to stalk the savannah. Universal Pictures has dropped a gripping new featurette for Idris Elba’s upcoming BEAST. The movie, which arrives in UK cinemas on August 26th features a huge rogue lion intent on proving that the savannah has but one apex predator. And entering the food chain is Idris Elba and his two daughters. The movie looks like a truly intense and gripping drama that will have us right on the edge of our seats. But don’t take my word for it…hit play on the special behind-the-scenes look below.

THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS

The film looks every bit as shocking as Stephen Hopkins’ sensational 1996 cult classic ‘The Ghost And The Darkness‘ starring Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer. The movie was a retelling of Lieutenant Colonel John Henry Patterson’s battle against two man-eating lions responsible for killing and eating countless railroad workers. The incredible true story has captivated legions of mystery lovers around the world, and Beast looks every bit as chilling. There is something truly terrifying about humans being thrust back into the food chain. And that, coupled with the predator stalking its prey aspects makes Beast one of the standout movies of the summer.
