SK8 The Infinity Returns For an OVA and Season 2

SK8 The Infinity returns with two new projects.

It is the news we were all waiting for. What we called the best anime of 2021 is coming back with two new projects. Today during the SK8 week event in Okinawa, the production team has announced an OVA and a second season. The production team and the cast are all returning for these projects in cluding director Hiroko Utsumi.

No footage has been unveiled yet but they released a trailer announcement with footage from season 1.

SK8 The Infinity premiered last year with a first season of 12 episodes. The series takes place in Okinawa where a group of skaters participate in a secret competition called ‘S’ after midnight in an abandoned mine. Reki, an Highschool student and hardcore skater takes the new student Langa to ‘S’ one night pulling him into the skateboarding world.

No release dates have been announced yet but we will keep you updated as soon as more informations are revealed.
