Tsurune Is Coming Back For A Second Season
Tsurune is coming back for a second season!
The long-awaited Tsurune movie is finally getting released today in Japan. And for that occasion, Kyoto Animation has announced the characters are coming back for a second season in January 2023. They have unveiled a first look featuring Shuu, Minato and a new character – Eisuke Nikaido who will be voiced by Jun Fukuyama. This season is entitled ‘Tsurune – Tsunagari no Issha.’ You can translate it into ‘Tsurune – A Shot At Connecting.’ And this time, the tagline is “I want to be myself.” It is repeated twice.
Synopsis of the first season:
“When Narumiya Minato joins Prefectural Kazemai High School, he is quickly invited to join the archery club by the club’s advisor, Tommy-sensei. His childhood friends Takehaya Seiya and Yamanouchi Ryohei swiftly agree to join, but Minato is hesitant at first. Because Minato is the rare student with experience in archery, Tommy-sensei orders him to give a demonstration, which Minato does… except his arrow doesn’t hit the target. It is revealed that Minato has developed a terrible dysfunction regarding archery.”
As of now, there is no release date for the movie internationally. But do not worry, we at Future of the Force will bring you the news as soon as we know more. As for the second season, it is likely going to be simulcast by Crunchyroll like the first one.
