The new bust has been developed with hands-on access to the original film mask and costume artifact and boasts an incredible recreation of the original screen-used prop.

What’s more, every one of these busts comes complete with a plaque hand-signed by performer Alan Fernandes, an elephant trainer who portrayed a Tusken Raider in Star Wars: A New Hope. But don’t take my word for it. Check out the full details and image gallery below.

RECREATING AN ARTIFACT

“The Tusken Raiders endure. Decades after their introduction to the Star Wars mythos, they’ve been featured again and again in the various films and series. So much of that has to to do with the classic, mysterious-yet-menacing design. To be face-to-face with the original masks and costumes from the 1977 film was a moving experience. We spent an extraordinary amount of time with those artifacts. From measurements and color matching, to the high-tech wizardry of the 3D scanning, we used every tool we could to make our recreation as faithful as we could to the look and details of these iconic originals.” – Tom Spina (Regal Robot founder)
