She-Hulk delivers a funny and entertaining episode! Wong and She-Hulk is exactly the team-up we needed!”

Today is Thursday so it is time for our weekly dose of Marvel! Since it is Disney Plus Day, we get a triple dose of Marvel – Thor Love and Thunder is now on available on the streaming service in IMAX enhanced format along with the making of the movie. And that is not over yet. Indeed, on Saturday expect some awesome announcements from Marvel Studios during the Studio showcase panel at D23! There is a lot of enjoyment for us Marvel fans! So, how is this week’s episode of She-Hulk?

DATING LIFE

This episode uses the same structure as last week. Which means that you have two intertwined storylines. Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk explores the world of dating apps. Obviously, this is quite funny. Being a lawyer and a superhero is not exactly easy for your dating life. People have one impression of Jennifer and another of She-Hulk. So, it is difficult for her to make it work. More generally, anyone who has ever used a dating app will tell you this is pretty awful. It is surely a fitting storyline for a series with a comedic tone like She-Hulk.

And as every week, the series continues to tackle misogyny. I have said it before but I love how aware it is of the in-fandom discussion. And by breaking the fourth wall, it can call out those people.

WONGERS

Once again, Wong returns. Honestly, who doesn’t love the Sorcerer Supreme of the Mystic Arts? He is a fun character. It is the fourth project from Phase 4 in which he appears. And this one may be my favorite of his appearances yet! I think he is not only the Sorcerer Supreme but also the Master of Cameos. Honestly, a Wong and Jennifer Walters team-up is exactly what we needed! It is refreshing and insanely cool! Plus, this storyline explores another side of the Mystic Arts. Add to that a few magic tricks. And remember, stan Madisynn, “two Ns and one Y but not where you think.”

I say it every week but do not forget to stay during the credits as there is a mid-credits scene. This is for every episode of this series. These are not scenes that tease anything but just some fun scenes.
