Ahead of the three-episode premiere tomorrow, Disney Plus has shared a special look at Star Wars: Andor. The upcoming Rogue One prequel reunites us with Captain Cassian Andor several years before the heroic events on Scarif and showcases the birth of the fledgling rebellion. And in true Star Wars fashion, the series gets underway with a landmark opening salvo. But don’t take my word for it. Take a walk down memory lane and get up to speed before we jump to lightspeed tomorrow.
REVIEW
Fortunately, I was lucky enough to get a special preview of the first four episodes and had mixed feelings toward Tony Gilroy’s efforts. Although the series is mature, dark, and intense, the show is a slow burn and a major departure from its predecessors which makes for a bold and grounded adventure.
