“This is the best episode of She-Hulk giving us an awesome superhero team-up. This episode truly feels like a comic book brought to life.”
This week is the penultimate episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. And it also marks Daredevil’s proper return in the MCU. This is a big week. Plus, let’s not forget that tomorrow there is a second Marvel content with Werewolf By Night, of which you can already read our review.
DAREDEVIL’S RETURN

Daredevil’s return is obviously something I have been eagerly waiting for. His series was absolutely fantastic. Charlie Cox is simply perfect as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. It was already amazing to see him again as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man No Way Home. But, now he gets to suit up as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen again. He is back with his classic costume except this time, we get to see him with the red and yellow colours. Which is a callback to one of his costumes from the comics. I am really happy to see him with these colours. It is a nice change from the usual red.
His re-introduction feels so seamless. It is as if he has always been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is the same character we knew. There are actually some references to his series. Plus, we do hear his theme! How amazing does this get? Moreover, this episode shows another side of him. Indeed, he is more playful, cracking some jokes. And he gives the impression of enjoying his superhero job more than he used to. It is normal that depending with whom he interacts, he is not going to act the same way. Here with She-Hulk, it allows him to be more lighthearted.
Furthermore, Daredevil has some pretty cool updates. He has to be stronger within the MCU considering everything that happens. And his sticks are even more badass than usual. I am so excited for his upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again. It is an absolute joy to see him interact with other superheroes. Even though, he makes a triumphant return, let’s not forget that this is She-Hulk’s series. There is a perfect scene that reminds you this. We see the start of a classic Daredevil hallway scene until it is interrupted by She-Hulk, herself. This is the definition of awesome.
SUPERHERO TEAM-UP

Additionally, since Daredevil is in town, there has to be a team-up with She-Hulk. Two lawyers by day who also happen to have a superhero identity? It was meant to happen! Not to mention, their chemistry is off the chart. The back and forth banter between the two is flawless. The lead-up to it is so well written. In fact, they first meet as lawyers, then fight as superheroes and then team-up to end up sleeping together. Matt sleeping with Jen just makes so much sense. Indeed, Daredevil’s series made several references that Matt easily got with women but never really had long-term relationships. While for She-Hulk, previous episodes have depicted her as going to several dates. Superheroes hooking up needs to happen more often! I need to see these two working together again!
This superhero team-up is to stop Leap-Frog. He is another character from the comics. Since the beginning, this series has brought so many characters from the comics, some ridiculous, some more obscure and has been able to make it all work on screen. Who would have thought Leap-Frog could appear in the MCU?
Who says superhero team-up says superhero costumes. This episode finally shows She-Hulk first’s superhero costume. I like how the texture is similar to Hulk’s costume in Avengers Endgame while it has its own colors. It is a costume that feels very practical for a Hulk.
Moreover, seeing Daredevil and She-Hulk working together just feels like a comic book coming to life. This series has been the one that feels the most comic-booky with all these characters appearing. There is also the fact that actual comics writers have written some episodes of the series including this one. You can really feel it. A comics issue is roughly 32 pages long. It is a short story and the sitcom format is right for reproducing that fun adventure vibe. There is so many things to love about She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.
On a side note, this episode confirms the infamous Sokovia Accords have been repealed. It had to happen at some point. With all the superheroes appearing now, the government cannot control everyone. It is just a little line in the episode but it actually changes everything.
THIS ISN’T OVER

While one might think the episode is packed with the Daredevil and She-Hulk team-up. There is more to it. Once again, the series perfectly uses the fourth wall to comment on that. The ending scene sets things up for the finale next week. And, this is getting darker.
Even though, there are no mid credits scene this week, stay during the credits. Every week, they feature some drawings representing unseen scenes from the episode. This is really fun.
VERDICT
This is the best episode of She-Hulk giving us an awesome superhero team-up with Daredevil’s triumphant return. The chemistry between him and She-Hulk is simply off the chart. It is an iconic duo. This episode truly feels like a comic book brought to life.
