Santa Claus gets the Terminator treatment in the trailer for Joe Begos’ festive horror flick ‘Christmas Bloody Christmas’ – streaming on Shudder on December 9th
Put the kids to bed early, hide behind the sofa and settle in for some festive horror fun because Shudder is premiering Christmas Bloody Christmas this holiday season. Premiering on December 9th, Joe Begos’ unapologetic Christmas slaughter-fest reveals what happens when a department Santa Claus, upgraded with the latest A.I, goes haywire and sets off on a murderous rampage. And if you ever wondered what Santa Claus meets The Terminator would look like, you’re in for a real treat. Albeit a mind-warping, axe-murdering one!
The movie looks to be an absolute blast…in a dark and twisted fun kind of way. And with a robotic symbol of Christmas let loose on an unsuspecting public, every festive trope is on the chopping block. Especially with the killer muttering “ho ho ho” every time he claims another victim. But don’t take my word for it. We’ve got the chilling new trailer ready for you below. SYNOPSIS
It’s Christmas Eve and fiery record store owner Tori Tooms just wants to get drunk and party, until the robotic Santa Claus at a nearby toy store goes haywire and makes her night more than a little complicated. Santa Claus begins a rampant killing spree through the neon drenched snowscape against a backdrop of drugs, sex, metal and violence, ultimately forcing Tori into a blood splattered battle for survival against the ruthless heavy metal Saint Nick himself.
