Michael B. Jordan stars and directs the third movie spin-off, squaring off against Jonathan Majors in Creed III
Seconds Out! Round Three! After the success, both critically and commercially of the first two Creed movies, a third movie was always on the scorecards. And so it has proved. March 3rd sees the release of the third spin-off from the Rocky franchise, Creed III. Once again, Michael B. Jordan steps into the boxing shorts of Adonis ‘Donnie’ Creed but also steps behind the camera to direct the movie. Tessa Thompson as Bianca Taylor also returns for the film, while the film gets a new contender in the shape of Jonathan Majors as Damian “Dame” Anderson, Donnie’s former friend. Sylvester Stallone is absent from this new entry, retiring his character of Rocky after the previous film. The big game spot for the film has been released. Ring the bell as we step into the ring:
THE PREMISE
After the events of Creed II, Adonis “Donnie” Creed is thriving in both his boxing career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian “Dame” Anderson, resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Donnie must put his future on the line to battle Dame – a fighter who has nothing to lose.

We will see if Donnie can land another knockout blow when Creed III opens in theaters on March 3rd.
