Creed 3 Official Poster

Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors trade blows on the latest poster for Creed III – landing in cinemas on March 3

It’s time to dust off your gloves and climb back into the ring because Creed III is landing in cinemas in just 4 weeks. The third round in the Rocky spinoff series is shaping up to be one of the biggest movies of the year. And with Jonathan Majors throwing his hat into the ring to trade blows with Michael B. Jordan, the hype is gaining momentum by the day.

Today, Warner Bros. continued to pour fuel into the PR tank by releasing a brand new poster for the movie. And as expected, the glorious one-sheet showcases the clash of the century. Off camera is Jonathan Majors, and taking center sage is the main man himself. Jordan’s Adonis Creed is seen swinging for glory as the gloves come off – hinting at the mother of boxing matches. But don’t take my word for it. Check out the poster below.

SYNOPSIS

After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) thrived in his career and family. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian – a fighter with nothing to lose.

ALL CREED – NO ROCKY

Michael B. Jordan, in his directorial debut directs Creed III from a story by Ryan Coogler, Keenan Coogler, and Zach Baylin. Sylvester Stallone’s tenure as Rocky Balboa is officially over, and the Hollywood legend’s involvement in the threequel has been curtailed as a result.

Joining Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson (Bianca Creed), and Mila Davis-Kent (Amara Creed) in Creed III are Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad.

The previous outing in the saga was a knockout for me. In fact, I said, “It delivered an overdose of adrenaline-fuelled action whilst remaining grounded and keeping a heartfelt story about the characters and the inner turmoil that is attached to a boxer’s life inside and outside of the ring.” So I’m hopeful that the threequel will knock it out of the park. However, the gaping Sylvester Stallone-sized hole will be a major factor in its success…or its failure! Either way, I’m sure we are in for an emotional ride that will have us punching the air from the edge of our seats. But can it land a knockout? We’ll soon find out in 4 weeks!
