The latest character poster from Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 fights to the very end with Clone Commander Mayday
The second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is already nearing its conclusion on Disney+. So far the series has been packed with riot racing, clone conspiracies, and idyllic desert island destinations. However, the story has ramped up the tension in recent weeks. Especially when thrusting Crosshair in a survival scenario on the barren ice world of Barton-4.
Ordinarily, new episodes alone would be enough to appease our insatiable appetite. But thankfully, Lucasfilm is upping the ante with another batch of superb character posters for us to feast upon. So far, Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, Crosshair, Omega, Cid, Commander Cody, TAY-O, Phee Genoa, Gungi, Riyo Chuchi, Emperor Palpatine, Benni Baro, and Commando Scorch have been rewarded with their own individual posters. But this week, Clone Commander Mayday fights until his last breath!

Clone Commander Mayday made a poignant impact on the events of the series last week. After Crosshair was deployed to the facility located on the artic planet Barton-4 to retrieve some precious cargo, the treacherous clone discovered that a nightmare awaited him. He swiftly learned that the battalion of clones left to guard the cargo had been wiped out by bandits, and only Clone Commander Mayday, and two of his squad remained alive.
The Empire’s tepid reinforcements however were not enough to prevent another attack. And soon, Mayday’s squad had been eliminated and the precious cargo had been stolen. Ironically, Mayday and Crosshair were tasked with its safe return and were dispatched into the treacherous regions to retrieve the payload. What they didn’t know, however, was that the cargo contained the armor for the new breed of Imperial TK Stormtroopers. And that both clone warriors had been risking their lives to facilitate the rise of their replacements.

GOOD SOLDIERS FOLLOW ORDERS!
Unfortunately, both Crosshair and Mayday were injured in the conflict. And after surviving an avalanche, both struggled to make it back to the base before they succumbed to the subzero temperatures. Not that Lieutenant Nolan cared. And as Mayday was denied medical treatment and perished on the tarmac, Crosshair finally stopped following orders and executed the Imperial bureaucrat in cold blood. But it was a decision that may end up costing him everything! Check out Mayday’s character poster below.
