THE OFFICIAL CHART
This week, the chart sees quite a change. We get two new entries alongside two re-entries into the placings. To make way, it is a sad goodbye to Casino, Bullet Train, Jurassic World: Dominion, and Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone. We also have a brand new number-one title. What can it be? Let’s purr along as we find out.
PUSS IN BOOTS GETS HIS LAST WISH!
Puss In Boots: The Last Wish makes a magical Number 1 debut on the Official Film Chart. Marching straight in at the top spot, the sequel to 2011’s Shrek spin-off Puss In Boots makes its impressive entrance based on digital downloads only. In the film, Puss In Boots (Antonio Banderas) discovers he’s used eight of his nine lives thanks to his daring adventures – and decides to seek out the mythical Last Wish to restore them.

MATILDA LOSES HER VOICE!
Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, which spent four weeks at the top shuffles down to Number 2.

ELVIS ROCKS BACK UP THE CHART!
Multi-Oscar nominee Elvis rises two places to Number 3. (Read our review here).

LIVING LOSES A LIFE!
Living holds on to a place In the Top 5 on digital downloads only, at Number 4, falling a place.

MAVERICK HOLDS ONTO A TOP-FIVE PLACE!
Top Gun: Maverick rounds out the Top 5 despite falling a place. (Read our review here).

WHITNEY WANTS TO DANCE WITH SOMEBODY AGAIN!
Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody re-enters the Top 10, and indeed the chart, for the first time since February.

BLACK PANTHER IS DEFEATED!
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever tumbles five places, finishing the week in seventh. (Read our review here).

THE BANSHEES RETURN TO THE CHART!
The Banshees of Inisherin rocket up thirteen places to number eight.

GET READY FOR A VIOLENT NIGHT!
Festive action-comedy Violent Night, starring David Harbour, soars 17 places to Number 9 to enter the Top 10 for the first time following its release on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD. (Read our review here).

BLACK ADAM IS ALMOST DOWN AND OUT!
Finally, Dwayne Johnson’s turn in Black Adam clings on to a place in the Top 10 for another week, falling two places to Number 10. (Read our review here).

END OF THE ROAD!
And that takes care of that for another week. As we head toward Easter, we will see the digital release of Avatar: The Way Of Water heading our way on April 4th, just in time for the bank holiday weekend. So, until next week…
