This week on The Official Film Chart, The Banshees return, and we are in for a Violent Night, but Puss In Boots purrs at the top of the chart!

THE OFFICIAL CHART

This week, the chart sees quite a change. We get two new entries alongside two re-entries into the placings. To make way, it is a sad goodbye to Casino, Bullet Train, Jurassic World: Dominion, and Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone. We also have a brand new number-one title. What can it be? Let’s purr along as we find out.

PUSS IN BOOTS GETS HIS LAST WISH!

Puss In Boots: The Last Wish makes a magical Number 1 debut on the Official Film Chart. Marching straight in at the top spot, the sequel to 2011’s Shrek spin-off Puss In Boots makes its impressive entrance based on digital downloads only. In the film, Puss In Boots (Antonio Banderas) discovers he’s used eight of his nine lives thanks to his daring adventures – and decides to seek out the mythical Last Wish to restore them.

MATILDA LOSES HER VOICE!

Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, which spent four weeks at the top shuffles down to Number 2.

ELVIS ROCKS BACK UP THE CHART!

Multi-Oscar nominee Elvis rises two places to Number 3. (Read our review here).

Living holds on to a place In the Top 5 on digital downloads only, at Number 4, falling a place.

The Banshees of Inisherin rocket up thirteen places to number eight.
