This week on The Official Chart, John Wick continues his rampage, and we get to meet a Cocaine Bear, but it’s Matilda who returns to the top spot!

AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER IS NOW AVAILABLE TO BUY ON DIGITAL!

Just in time for the Easter weekend, the smash-hit sequel Avatar: The Way Of Water has been released to buy on digital download. The sequel to the massive James Cameron hit of a decade ago, the film continues the story of Jake Sully and his life on Pandora. Get the details of the digital release here.

THE OFFICIAL CHART

While we wait to see what impact Avatar: The Way Of Water will have on next week’s chart, this week sees one new entry. To make way for this newcomer, we bid goodbye to Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody. And just in time for the Easter holidays, a former number one returns to the top spot.

MATILDA SINGS HER WAY BACK TO NUMBER ONE!

Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical reclaims its title of the UK’s number 1 film. Thanks to an influx of digital downloads this week, the film muscles ahead of last week’s chart-topper to earn its fifth total week at the top.

A MAN CALLED OTTO DROPS TO NUMBER TWO!

Last week’s number one title, A Man Called Otto, drops a place to number two.

MAVERICK FLIES BACK UP THE CHART!

Top Gun: Maverick also enjoys a resurgence this week as it jumps four places to number 3. (Read our review here).

COCAINE BEAR SNORTS OUT A NUMBER FOUR ARRIVAL!

This week’s highest new entry comes from none other than Cocaine Bear at number four. The Elizabeth Banks-directed comedy-thriller, based on a true story, sees an oddball group of people congregate in a forest where a black bear – having ingested a considerable amount of cocaine – is on a rampage.
