The Monsterverse returns next summer when Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire opens in theaters!
We knew it wasn’t over! They couldn’t leave each other alone! We knew they’d meet again somewhere down the line. And so it has proved. The titanic pairing of Godzilla and Kong will return next March 15th when their new movie, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire opens. This time though, they will be working together instead of against each other when a new undiscovered threat raises its head.
Dan Stevens leads the cast in the new movie alongside the returning Rebecca Hall as Dr. Ilene Andrews, Brian Tyree Henry as Bernie Hayes, and Kaylee Hottle as Jia from Godzilla Vs Kong. Today has seen the announcement of the film’s title as well as the first teaser trailer for the movie. Although we don’t see much, we do get to once again get a glimpse of the King of the Titans, sitting on his throne.
THE PREMISE
This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own. The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.
The two greatest Titans of them all will unite next March when Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire emerges from the Hollow Earth and into theaters.
