Hot Toys announces new figures from The Clone Wars for Star Wars Day!

Today is May the Fourth, and to celebrate Star Wars Day, Hot Toys has announced two new figures from Emmy-winning series The Clone Wars! We are getting a Darth Sidious figure from season 5 and Clone Commander Fox in his phase 1 armor.

DARTH SIDIOUS

The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural, and Sheev Palpatine™ is the most infamous follower of its doctrines. Living a double life, he was a Naboo™ Senator and also as Darth Sidious, a power-hungry Sith Lord. He began his play for control of the galaxy by orchestrating the invasion of Naboo, while at the same time positioning himself to be voted Supreme Chancellor in a special election. When the Clone Wars began on Geonosis™ between the Republic’s new clone army and the droids of the Separatists — with the Jedi caught in the middle — Sidious was pleased, and victory was in sight.

In celebration of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animation series’ 20th anniversary, Hot Toys is excited to introduce the new 1/6th scale Darth Sidious collectible figure!

The greatly detailed collectible figure is specially created with authentic styling featuring a newly developed head sculpt with amazing likeness and separate rolling eyeballs system, finely tailored outfit, dual lightsabers, sculpted hands with Force lightning effects, and a themed figure base!

CLONE COMMANDER FOX

Commander Fox led the Coruscant Guard™, an elite clone trooper unit assigned to serve as peace-keepers on the Galactic Republic™ capital. Like every other clone trooper in the Guard, Fox was bound by honor and duty to protect and serve the Supreme Chancellor and the members of the Galactic Senate. Utterly fearless, he was always the first to lead the charge into battle, even in the most perilous combat situations. His exemplary performance has made him one of the most highly decorated soldiers in the Republic army.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Star Wars: The Clone Wars animation, Hot Toys is pleased to expand its collectible series and present the 1/6th scale collectible figure of Clone Commander Fox!

The highly-detailed collectible figure is specially crafted based on the appearance of Commander Fox in his Phase 1 armor. It features skillfully developed helmet and armor with Fox’s custom crimson colored markings, tailored outfit with kama commander skirt, a heavy blaster rifle, a blaster carbine, a pair of blaster pistols, and a display base!
