The Season 2 premiere of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is just over three weeks away. But that isn’t stopping Paramount+ from pouring more dilithium into the hype train. Today, the streamer has shared a glorious final trailer for the upcoming season and it is packed to the brim with jaw-dropping Star Trek iconography! And the Enterprise navigating through a debris field! Returning to the streamer on June 15th, the new episodes will feature the return of James T. Kirk, the series debut of the Klingons, and even, Mr. Spock getting fresh with Nurse Chapel! RED ALERT!

In the latest trailer, we witness Lieutenant Ortegas (played by Melissa Navia) showcasing her exceptional piloting abilities, while Lieutenant Noonien-Singh (portrayed by Christina Chong) and Lieutenant James T. Kirk (played by Paul Wesley) embark on an action-packed away mission. Then Captain Pike (Anson Mount) faces off against the legendary Klingons, and Nurse Chapel (Jess Bush) and Dr. M’Benga (Babs Olusanmokun) get sucked out of an airlock. The footage is rounded off with Ensign Uhura (played by Celia Rose Gooding) enjoying herself with the new Chief Engineer Pelia (portrayed by Carol Kane), and Mr. Spock (played by Ethan Peck) developing a closer relationship with Nurse Chapel.

SYNOPSIS

The upcoming season seems to be a highlight of Paramount+’s summer lineup. As well as being one of the best entries in the franchise to date. The addition of James T. Kirk to the show is a wildcard, especially given his legacy in the franchise. But with the Klingons being thrown into the mix and the addition of the Lower Decks crew, the new season is shaping up to be unmissable. And we are 100% here for it. So, dust off your Federation uniform, polish your rank insignia, and avoid putting on a red shirt.
