Hot Toys reveals their Kamen Rider Black Sun Figures!

Recently, Hot Toys had teased they had acquired the Kamen Rider Black Sun license. Today, they have unveiled their new line of figures based on this film. There will be two figures – Kamen Rider Black Sun and Kamen Rider Shadow Moon. The Battle Hopper motorcycle will be sold separately. Each figure will have two versions – the basic version and the special edition that will come with an exclusive life size kingstone. A red one for Black Sun and a green one for Shadow Moon. These special editions are limited. These Kamen Riders are highly detailed figures with LED light-up function, articulated transformation belt, interchangeable hands and accessories.

Pre-orders have started exclusively at Toys Sapiens, the Hot Toys flagship in Japan. The first 100 people who pre-order the special edition of these figures will receive them by the end of July, while the general release is scheduled for October in Japan. The motorcycle is scheduled for September.

KAMEN RIDER BLACK SUN (SPECIAL EDITION)

A Special Edition available in selected markets will include a red kingstone, recreated in a life-size scale collectible accessory, perfect or displaying next to your figure.

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider’s creation, the popular “Kamen Rider BLACK” is remade after over 30 years. The series returns to its roots with a sorrowful following a protagonist who shoulders a cruel destiny. Director Kazuya Shiraishi, creator of blockbuster works like “The Devil’s Path” and “Last of the Wolves,” reimagines “Kamen Rider Black” as “Kamen Rider Black Sun” in 2022.

Hot Toys is excited to launch a new collectible series inspired by a popular production in Japan – Kamen Rider BLACK SUN. Presenting the titular character as an impressive 1/6th scale Kamen Rider Black Sun collectible figure for fans to enjoy!

The highly-accurate figure of Kaman Rider Black Sun includes a newly developed masked head with LED light-up eyes and antenna, a greatly-poseable body that captured every nuance of this character down to the fine details. The biological themed outfit is designed with realistic textures, it has been imbued with even more storytelling by a hidden Kamen Rider Black Sun emblem under the detachable chest armor, not to mention the specially applied luminous reflective patterns on the suit. Topped with accessories such as LED lighted Henshin belt with interchangeable buckles for alternate display modes, sword, hilt, newly sculpted hands, and a figure stand for dynamic poses.

As a roboot of Kamen Rider BLACK series in 1987, Kamen Rider Black Sun series follows the story of stepbrothers who undergo cyborg surgery and become rivals Kamen Rider Black Sun and Shadowmoon. The two end up facing off to see who is the most powerful.

Fans have been waiting in high anticipation for this figure! Hot Toys is now thrilled to introduce Black Sun’s biggest threat – Shadowmoon as 1/6th scale collectible figure based on Kamen Rider Black Sun.

The screen-accurate figure of Shadowmoon features a newly developed masked head with green LED light-up eyes and antenna, and an exceptionally-poseable body to recreate the “Henshin” moment. The one-sixth scale Battle Hopper Collectible Vehicle faithfully recreated the vehicle as seen in Kamen Rider Black Sun series by precision details and fine painting applications. Measures 37.5cm in length, features LED light up function design on head, body and tail lights, adjustable-degree handlebar, spring suspension, rotatable wheels given a realistic tread pattern, also highly-accurate mechanical details showcased on the engine, frame, exhaust, and side stands, comes with a specialized display base.
