In the latest teaser for Star Wars: Ahsoka, Anakin’s apprentice comes face to face with the latest adversaries standing between her and Thrawn!
Recently, Lucasfilm has released numerous exciting teasers for Star Wars: Ahsoka. And with just days to go until Anakin’s apprentice unleashes her lightsabers in the two-episode season premiere, the studio is adding more Coaxium to the hyperdrive hype engine. The latest addition to the promotional archive delivers another look at Rosario Dawson’s former apprentice as she takes on the latest enemies that stand between her and Grand Admiral Thrawn. As well as giving us a taste of what we can expect to see when the show lands on Disney Plus on August 23rd.
The teaser doesn’t reveal much in the way of new footage. But it’s more than enough to ramp up the excitement! Especially when Ahsoka reveals that a master and an apprentice are needed to conquer their enemies! So, unleash the Force and hit play on the player below.
THE SERIES
Set after the fall of the Empire, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
in addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, “Ahsoka” stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
The series is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer.
RELEASE
The series is unleashing the duo lightsabers on Disney Plus on August 23rd. The show will continue the plot threads left open in the finale of Star Wars: Rebels. Most notably the search for Ezra Bridger. Recently the studio shared the first character posters from the show. And as expected they are packed full of heroes and villains. Check them out here.
