The Killing Kind is set to premiere on September 7th, exclusively on Paramount+ in the UK.
Paramount+ today announced that the UK original drama THE KILLING KIND, an adaption of the best-selling novel by Jane Casey, will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in the UK on 7th September.
Alongside this announcement, Paramount+ released the official key art and a selection of imagery from the thrilling six-part series. The images feature Emma Appleton (Clique, The Witcher, Everything I Know About Love). And Colin Morgan (Merlin, Mammals, Humans) playing the lead roles of Ingrid Lewis and John Webster as they embark on a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse as Ingrid tries to uncover the truth about her mentor’s untimely death.
THE KILLING KIND charts the compelling past and present relationship between high-flying defence barrister, Ingrid Lewis, and her client John Webster, a successful businessman. In court, Ingrid represented Webster who was accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend. However, Ingrid developed feelings for Webster. When she wanted to end the relationship, he couldn’t let her go and consequently, Ingrid’s world imploded.
Just as Ingrid is rebuilding her life, the sudden death of her mentor and friend collides with the unexpected reappearance of Webster. With a sensational claim confirming Ingrid’s suspicions that she was the intended target. Fuelled by an obsession to find out the truth and not knowing whom to trust, Ingrid’s world threatens to unravel once more.
