The latest character poster drop from Star Wars: Ahsoka reunites us with Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano (Padawan), and Clone Captain Rex from The Clone Wars
With the jaw-dropping fifth episode of STAR WARS: AHSOKA now streaming and delighting fans everywhere, Lucasfilm has continued the weekly character poster drop. And for the latest addition to the catalog of glorious one-sheets, we are returning to The Clone Wars era. Making their triumphant return this week, Anakin Skywalker, Padawan Ahsoka Tano, and Clone Captain Rex were reunited in the World Between Worlds. After Ahsoka was defeated by Baylan Skoll, she awoke in familiar surroundings. A destination where the past and future collide. And waiting in the void to complete her training was her former master, Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen).
As they traversed the battles of The Clone Wars, the master and apprentice clashed despite their unbreakable bond. The duo was even reunited with Clone Captain Rex through a series of visions and flashbacks. And thankfully for Ahsoka, she emerged victorious and was soon reunited with Hera and Jacen; ready to resume the search for Thrawn. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Of course, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Rex are just a few of the characters that will carry this new series forward. But it is refreshing to see these legends of The Clone Wars being pushed to the forefront. Traditionally these posters drop within hours of the latest episode launching on Disney Plus. And this week’s new release is no different. So we are eating well with Dave Filoni’s breathtaking series and long may the feast continue. After all, we’ve already been treated to posters for Ahsoka, Hera, Sabine, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, Morgan Elsbeth, Huyang, Chopper, Marrok, Sabine’s Loth-Cat, Mon Mothma, and Jacen Syndulla. More recently, Carson Teva climbed back into his X-Wing and rejoined the fight. Check them out here.
But who will be joining Anakin, Ahsoka, and Rex on a glossy poster next week? Will Ezra Bridger be rewarded with a new poster? Could another REBELS character be about to make their live-action debut?
