We are just days away from the latest episode of STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS season 4 and the newly promoted Lower Decks team is enjoying the perks of promotion. Last week’s episode was an absolute blast. In his THREE-STAR review, Phil said “Although this was far from the most original episode, it was a pleasure to see Lower Decks playing in the sandbox of the Original Series once again. Borrowing subplots from Gene Roddenderry’s playbook has become second nature to this team. And as long as they continue to dust off the classic tropes while paying homage to the episodes of yesteryear, long may it continue,” But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let’s get the latest intel from Starfleet command because there has been hilarious activity reported along the Neutral Zone. And we can’t rule out some typical hijinks from Boimler and Rutherford.
A disturbing report from Deep Space Five has alerted us to a mysterious vessel attacking passing ships in the Alpha Quadrant. But fear not cadets. We will be on hand to bring you weekly updates and the latest episode stills directly from the final frontier. And that continues right here. So grab your Tricorders and set a course for Episode 4. Maximum warp!
SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING GREEN
As mentioned above, this week, newly promoted Lieutenant Brad Boimler (Jack Quaid) and his new roomy Rutherford find their relationship tested. All the while, Tendi is summoned home to attend a wedding. But as is always the case, Mariner finds a way to stir the pot and discovers more about her friend than she bargained for.
