PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie has barked its way to the top of the U.S. box office this past weekend. The animated family sequel managed to dig up $23 Million in box office sales to take the number one spot across the big pond. It isn’t hard to see why. The film is a wonderful family movie that will send everyone home with huge smiles on their faces. (Read our review here.) The film opens in the UK on October 13th after preview screenings this past weekend and next weekend.

The voices of the characters have been provided by a poundful of stars. These include Taraji P. Henson, Marsai Martin, Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, Alan Kim, Brice Gonzalez, Sir Trevor MacDonald, James Marsden, and Kristen Bell. A featurette which invites us to meet the voices behind the characters has been released to tie in with the film opening in cinemas. Let’s have a look and listen.

When a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City, it gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers. Transforming them into The MIGHTY PUPS! For Skye, the smallest member of the team, her new powers are a dream come true. But things take a turn for the worse when the pups’ archrival Humdinger breaks out of jail and teams up with Victoria Vance, a meteor-obsessed mad scientist, to steal the superpowers and turn themselves into supervillains. With the fate of Adventure City hanging in the balance, the Mighty Pups have to stop the supervillains before it’s too late, and Skye will need to learn that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference.
