The Western series rides back onto our screens in November with the premiere of Lawmen: Bass Reeves. It is based on the life of the first black Deputy U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi River, Bass Reeves. David Oyelowo stars as Reeves alongside Dennis Quaid as Sherrill Lynn, A Deputy U.S. Marshal. A new trailer for the show has been released. Mount up as we take a look.

The series also features Forrest Goodluck, Lauren E. Banks, Barry Pepper, Grantham Coleman, Demi Singleton, Garrett Hedlund, and Donald Sutherland. The series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan. Showrunner Chad Feehan has created the show. Feehan, David C. Glasser, David Oyelowo, Jessica Oyelowo, David Permut, Christina Alexandra Voros, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari and David Hutkin also serve as executive producers. The Paramount+ show premieres on November 5th with back-to-back episodes.
