This week on The Official Film Chart, the Beasts Rise, and Elemental returns, leaving Tom Cruise to explode to the top!
Welcome to The Official Film Chart.
THE UK TOP TEN
This week sees two new entries and one re-entry into the placings. As such, there is no longer any room for The Little Mermaid, Blue Beetle, and The Flash. But what are the new titles? And where have they entered? Has one of them managed to take the top spot? Light the fuse as we find out.

THE TOP SPOT HAS A DEAD RECKONING!
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One debuts at Number 1 on this week’s Official Film Chart. The latest instalment in the Mission: Impossible franchise sees secret espionage agency Impossible Missions Force (IMF) – led by protagonist Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) – attempt to track down a worrying weapon that could prove fatal should it fall into the wrong hands. With the future of humanity hanging in the balance, can Ethan battle demons from his past as this global mission gets underway? (Read our review here.)

THE BEASTS RISE AT NUMBER TWO!
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is a brand-new entry at Number 2 this week. This time, protagonist Optimus Prime and the Autobots face their greatest challenge yet, as the fate of the entire planet is at risk from a forceful new threat. (Read our review here.)

THE RED DOOR OPENS THE NUMBER EIGHT SPOT!
Dropping a place to Number 8 is the horror sequel Insidious: The Red Door.

FAST X HITS THE BRAKES IN NINTH!
Fast X loses some braking power as it slips a place to Number 9. (Read our review here.)

THE CHART GETS ELEMENTAL AGAIN!
Disney’s latest animated feature, Elemental, rounds out this week’s Top 10, a re-entry at Number 10. The film sees anthropomorphic elements representing fire, water, land and air living together to determine their commonalities.

FINISHING OFF!
And that is the top ten for this week. We probably won’t see much movement around the top spots next week, thanks to our two new entries in the two main positions. However, I’d like to remind you of Mega Movie Weekend this Friday to Sunday. You can find all the details you need right here. With that, until next week…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!!
