Get in, Loser, Mean Girls are almost here. The musical remake of the classic 2004 hit movie will be in cinemas on January 17th, 2024. With the release of the character posters, the trailers, and the images from the recent photocall, the build-up to the film’s release is mounting. Tickets for the movie are on sale now. A new featurette for the film has been released. In it, we hear from the cast of Mean Girls & writer, producer, and star Tina Fey as they discuss the lasting impact of the original film.
THE SYNOPSIS
From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic, MEAN GIRLS. New student Cady Heron is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics.” Ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George. And her minions Gretchen and Karen. When Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels, she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. Cady sets out to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis. And Damian, she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all. High School.
